I was at the stadium in Mohali yesterday when Sourav notched up his 16th Test ton, followed by some fireworks from Dhoni.

But the best part of the day's play came after all that when the Indians took the field.

The fielding was razor sharp and the bowling by Zaheer, Ishant, and Bhajji was top quality.

For me, the surprise packet of the day was Amit Mishra. He looks solid, uses his head intelligently, and has now put the selectors in quite a quandary over whether they should go back to Kumble for the next Test at the Kotla.

Way to go, Team India!
